If data logging fails due to an SD card error in the Touch Panel (RCP or MCP touchscreen), it may be necessary to format the SD card, re-install the boot file, and then reinsert the card into the device.
2. SD Card Installation Location

The SD card is installed on the rear side of either:

RCP (Remote Control Panel)

MCP (Main Control Panel)

3. Error Recovery Procedure
Step 1: Remove and Format the SD Card

Remove the SD card from the back of the RCP or MCP where the error occurred.

Insert the SD card into a laptop or PC.

In File Explorer (This PC), right-click the SD card drive, and select “Format”.

Configure format options:

File system: FAT32 (Default)

Allocation unit size: 32KB

Check “Quick Format”

Click “Start”

Step 2: Install the HMI Boot Program

Download and unzip the "booting files.zip".

Copy all extracted files.

Paste the files into the formatted SD card.
Step 3: Safely Eject and Reinsert

In File Explorer, right-click the SD card drive and click “Eject”.

Reinsert the SD card into the back of the Touch Panel.

Confirm that the green LED on the back of the Touch Panel is lit.
