This document provides troubleshooting procedures for the Cargo Monitoring System (CMSR). The identified issue involves the failure of the TLP-100D monitoring system software to execute properly.
2. Issue Description

4. Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide
Step 1: Verify Software Installation
- Navigate to
Control Panel > Programs and Features
. - Check if TLP-100D is installed.
- If it is installed, completely uninstall the software and restart the system.
Step 2: Reinstall the Software
- Obtain the latest TLP-100D installer from Hanla IMS support.
- Copy the installation files to the workstation.
- Run the installer as an administrator (
Right-click > Run as Administrator
). - Follow the installation prompts and complete the setup.
Step 3: Check Windows CE Dependencies
- Open File Explorer and navigate to
C:\Windows\System32
. - Verify whether the required Windows CE runtime libraries (DLL files) are present.
- If missing, download and install the Windows CE Runtime Environment from Microsoft.
Step 4: Run Without Cregedit
- Instead of modifying the registry, try running
TLP-100D.exe
directly from its installation folder. - If execution fails, check if administrator privileges are required.
