1. Preliminary Check
- Identify the analyzer PCB detector order using the reference diagram.
- Typically:
- Detector 1 = Circulation sampling pump.
- Detector 2 = Analyzing sampling pump.
- Pump Room Part 3 Flow = Typically assigned to Detector 9, but confirm Refer to analyzer PCB or diagram.
- Verify the Gas Sampling System version by:
- Turning the display power OFF and ON or performing a Lamp Test.
2. Entering Calibration Mode
For HGS-100C Version 6.05 and Earlier
- Press F5 (CFG) → Enter Password: "1234".
- Select Detector Calibration.
- Input the Detector number (Refer to approval drawing or analyzer PCB).
For HGS-100C Version 6.05 and Later
- Press F4 (UTIL) → F1 (DT.MOD) → F2 (DT.CAL).
- Enter Password: 1234.
- Input the Detector number (Refer to approval drawing or analyzer PCB).
⚠️ Note:
- Detector No.1 = Sampling Pump 1 (Circulation).
- Detector No.2 = Sampling Pump 2 (Analyzing).
3. Calibration Procedure
Step 1: Select CURVE Mode
- Enter Calibration Mode and select CURVE.
- Verify the overall current (mA) values.
Step 2: Adjust 3-Way Valve
- For Circulation Flow Setting (Flow 1):
- Turn the 3-Way Valve right to the Calibration side.
- For Analyzing Flow Setting (Flow 2):
- Turn the 3-Way Valve left to the Sampling side.
⚠️ Caution:
- The valve should remain in the Sampling position under normal operation.
4. Flow Setting Process
-
Zero Flow Adjustment:
- Close the Calibration Flow Meter Valve completely.
- Wait 10 seconds to stabilize the flow meter ball and current values.
- Press Set and Enter to save the current (mA) value.
-
Incremental Flow Adjustment:
- Move the cursor to the next line and press Enter.
- Adjust the Flow Meter Knob to 1 L/min.
- Press Set and Enter to save the current (mA) value.
- Increase the flow meter by 1 L/min to set current values from Flow No.2 to No.9.
-
Maximum Flow Adjustment:
- Open the Flow Meter Knob fully and set Calibration 10.
- Confirm that the knob is fully opened before saving.
5. Final Confirmation
- Set the Calibration Flow Meter Knob to 300 L/h, referring to the display unit.
- Ensure all flow settings match the reference diagram.
- Repeat the Flow Setting for the Pressure Transmitter using the same procedure.
Important Notes:
⚠️ Caution: Ensure correct detector assignments before proceeding with calibration.
⚠️ Warning: The reference current values in the images are placeholders and may vary based on sampling pump performance.
⚠️ Warning:The current value of the Flow Setting should increase sequentially.
