Overview

The HCOM-200 is a communication module designed for integration with the HGS-100-NEW system. It operates using RS-485 unilateral communication, transmitting critical system data to VDR (Voyage Data Recorder) without receiving data in return. The unit is designed for use in marine monitoring and alarm systems.

1. Safety Information (p.3-4)

• Electrical Hazards:
  • Power must be isolated before installation or maintenance.
  • The equipment operates at high voltage, requiring extreme caution.
• Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions:
  • Handle PCBs with care to prevent static damage.
