Overview
The HPI-100 is a pressure measurement and control unit designed to monitor tank pressure and convert it into tank level data. It communicates with a Master Unit via MODBUS RTU protocol and includes relay control functionality for solenoid valve operation.
1. Safety Information (p.3-4)
- Electrical Hazards:
- Always isolate power before installation or maintenance.
- High-voltage components are present; improper handling may lead to injury.
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions:
- Avoid static electricity discharges that can damage electronic components.
- Handle Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) with care and use conductive packaging.
- DO NOT remove or install PCBs while power is applied.
2. Storage Before Installation (p.5)
- Store the equipment in a dry, sheltered area to prevent moisture and temperature damage.
- Before installation, check for:
- Bent or damaged components.
- Scratches, dents, or other physical deformities.
- Damaged connectors, leads, or PCBs.
3. System Description (p.6)
- The HPI-100 measures up to 24 tank pressures and converts them into tank levels.
- Equipped with a 24-bit A/D converter for high-precision measurements.
- Communicates via RS-485 MODBUS RTU protocol.
- Features relay control for solenoid valves.
- LCD Display shows real-time tank level readings.
