Overview
The HSB-100 is a signal switching module that allows switching between two output signal lines (OUT1 or OUT2) using an external control signal or manual switch. It is commonly used in automation and industrial control systems to manage input signal routing.
1. Safety Information (p.3-4)
- Electrical Hazards:
- Always isolate power before installation or maintenance.
- High-voltage components are present; improper handling may lead to injury.
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Precautions:
- Avoid static electricity discharges that can damage electronic components.
- Handle Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) with care and use conductive packaging.
- DO NOT remove or install PCBs while power is applied.
2. Storage Before Installation (p.5)
- Store the equipment in a dry, sheltered area to prevent moisture and temperature damage.
- Before installation, check for:
- Bent or damaged components.
- Scratches, dents, or other physical deformities.
- Damaged connectors, leads, or PCBs.
3. System Description (p.6)
- The HSB-100 functions as a switchable signal routing module, directing input signals to two possible output lines.
- Operates on an external control signal to select between OUT1 and OUT2.
- Manual switching is also available when no external control signal is used.
4. Technical Specifications (p.6)
- Power Supply: 18-26V DC (Nominal 24V DC)
- Dimensions: 65mm × 65mm × 28mm (W × D × H)
- External Control Signal: 24V DC
- Operating Conditions:
- Indoor industrial use.
- Temperature and humidity controlled environments.
5. Signal Switching Functions (p.6)
- Switch Down – No External Signal
- Default input signal routing is active.
- Switch Up – No External Signal
- Alternate signal routing is activated.
- Switch Down – External Signal Applied
- External control overrides switch position.
Input Signal | Output 1 (OUT1) | Output 2 (OUT2) |
---|---|---|
IN1 | OUT1-1 | OUT2-1 |
IN2 | OUT1-2 | OUT2-2 |
IN3 | OUT1-3 | OUT2-3 |
6. Revision History (p.7)
- Version R1 (2025.03.03) – First revision of the technical manual.
