1. Preparation

Ensure that you have the following materials before starting the procedure:

• VEGA CONNECT 4
• VEGA PACTware CD
• Notebook PC with administrative access

2. Installation of PACTware

1. Insert the VEGA PACTware CD into the notebook PC.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the PACTware software.
3. Ensure the installation completes successfully before proceeding.

3. Connection Setup

1.  Power Off the MMCU-500C
   
   •  Turn off the power switch located on the front cover of MMCU-500C.
2. Connect VEGA CONNECT 4
   •  Retrieve the VEGA CONNECT 4 cable from its case.
   •  Connect one end of the VEGA CONNECT 4 to the barrier.
   •  Ensure a secure connection before proceeding.

4. Launching PACTware

1. Start the PACTware Program
   • Open the PACTware software from the notebook PC.
   • Wait for the application window to load.
2. Confirm Connection
   • If an error message appears, verify the connections and restart the software.

5. Modifying HART Variable Settings

1. Navigate to Additional Settings in PACTware.
2. Click on HART Variables.
3. Modify the Primary Variable (PV) setting:
   • Set it to "Scaled".
4. Click Apply to confirm changes.

6. Final Check

• Disconnect VEGA CONNECT 4 safely.
• Reconnect the PLICSCOM module to the radar sensor.
• Check the display value on MMCU-500C
