The "RAAA024: Failed to open the file in the SD Card (Alarms)" error occurs when the touchscreen cannot recognize the SD Card.
This may result from a temporary connection issue, a corrupted SD Card. Follow the troubleshooting steps below.

2. Troubleshooting Steps

Step 1: Locate the SD Card

The SD Card is installed in one of the following locations:

1. C.C.R (Cargo Control Room) → Back of RCP (Remote Control Panel)'s touchscreen.
2. E.R (Engine Room) → Back of MCP (Main Control Panel)'s touchscreen.

Step 2: Reinsert the SD Card

1. Gently press and remove the SD Card from the back of the touchscreen.
2. Wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the SD Card.
3. Observe if the green LED turns on and if the error message disappears.
   

📌 Why? Temporary connection issues can often be resolved by reinserting the SD Card.

Step 3: Format the SD Card (If Error Persists)

1. If the error message does not disappear after reinsertion, format the SD Card.
2. After formatting, reinsert the SD Card into the touchscreen.
3. Check if the green LED turns on and the error message disappears.

📌 Why? Corrupted SD Card files may cause recognition failures, which formatting can resolve.

Step 4: If the SD Card is not detected

1. If the SD Card is not detected on PC or laptop, connect it to another PC's SD card reader or laptop.
2. If the SD Card is still not detected, refer to the "When an SD Card Recognition Error Occurs" manual.

📌 Why? If it is not detected due to a problem with the SD card, it needs to be checked.

Step 5: Replace the SD Card (If Formatting & SD Card detection Fails)

1. If the error persists after formatting, replace the SD Card with a new one.
2. Insert the new SD Card and check if the green LED turns on.
