1. Overview
This guide provides instructions for checking the internal components of FM301.
Before performing maintenance, ensure all safety precautions are followed.
Additionally, it is recommended to perform the inspection according to the procedure below only when requested by the AS team.
⚠ Caution: Before checking FM301, turn off BWTS breaker (MCP) on the vessel’s Main Switchboard (MSBD).
2. Inspection Steps
Step 1: Remove the FM301 Front Cover
- Remove the front cover of the FM301 converter.
- Loosen the screws securing the converter.
Step 2: Remove PCB Assembly
- Carefully take out the PCB Assembly.
- Disconnect two connectors from the round-type PCB.
- ⚠ Do not disconnect any other connectors.

Step 3: Inspect for Corrosion
- Take multiple-angle photos of the converter interior and PCB assembly to check for corrosion.
Step 4: Remove the FM301 Back Cover
- Open the back cover of the FM301 converter.
- Loosen three screws securing the round-type PCB.
Step 5: Check the Round-Type PCB
- Take photos from different angles to check if the round-type PCB is corroded.
3. Required Photos for Review
After completing the inspection, provide the following photos:
- Converter interior
- PCB Assembly
- Round-type PCB
