1. AI4CH Inspection Procedure
To perform a proper inspection of AI4CH, follow the steps below:
- Use a tester to measure the detector input current of the faulty AI4CH channel.
- Compare the measured current with the value indicated in I/O CONDITION.
- While checking the current, confirm that there are no concentration fluctuations in surrounding channels or modules.
- If there is a discrepancy between the measured and indicated values, reset the channel.
- Refer to Section 3: AI4CH Reset Procedure.
- If the discrepancy persists even after resetting, replace the module.
- Acceptable deviation: ±0.2mA.
⚠️ Caution:
- Ensure that the tester is properly calibrated before measuring the current.
- Avoid unnecessary contact with adjacent channels to prevent signal interference.
2. Detector Interference Check Procedure
To verify if there is interference affecting the AI4CH detector, proceed as follows:
- Observe the detector values in I/O CONDITION while operating the equipment.
- Check if nearby electrical devices are causing unintended fluctuations in the detector readings.
- Temporarily isolate the suspected interference source and recheck the detector’s stability.
- If interference persists, contact the maintenance team for further analysis.
⚠️ Caution:
- Unexpected external signals may cause inaccurate readings.
3. AI4CH Reset Procedure
If an AI4CH channel needs to be reset, follow the steps below:
- Press the Log-in button and enter 0815 to access system settings.
- Navigate to I/O-Setting from the right sidebar.
- Click on Analog Input.
- Select the channel to reset.
- Click 3.3 AI Channel Init... to initialize the selected channel.
- Press OK to confirm and complete the reset process.
⚠️ Warning:
- Resetting the channel may cause temporary loss of sensor data. Ensure the system is not actively in use.
- If the issue persists after resetting, a hardware replacement may be required.
Post-Reset Verification
After resetting AI4CH, perform the following to verify the reset was successful:
- Check the detector input current and compare it with the expected value.
- Monitor surrounding channels for any unexpected fluctuations.
- Confirm that the reset channel is operating normally in I/O CONDITION.
If problems persist, proceed with module replacement.
System Restart Procedure
If resetting does not resolve the issue, restart the system as follows:
- Turn off the system power.
- Wait at least 10 seconds to ensure all capacitors discharge.
- Turn on the system power and allow it to boot completely.
- Verify AI4CH functionality and recheck detector readings.
⚠️ Caution:
- Restarting the system may interrupt ongoing processes. Perform only when necessary.
