Overview
The Fixed Gas Sampling System (FGSS - GSS-200) is designed for continuous monitoring of hazardous gas concentrations in shipboard environments. This system features dual pumps for redundancy, real-time gas detection, and automatic safety shutdown mechanisms to prevent gas accumulation.
1. Safety Information (p.6-8)
- Electrical Hazard: Ensure power isolation before installation or maintenance.
- Anti-Static Precautions: Handle PCBs with proper grounding.
- Storage Conditions: Store in dry areas, away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
2. System Components (p.12-16)
2.1 Analyzing Unit (PCB)
- Converts gas concentration readings into digital signals.
- Provides RS-485 communication with display and external monitoring systems.
- Alarm Relays: Supports 2-level gas alarms (pre-alarm and main alarm).
2.2 Display Unit (Control Unit)
- 12.1-inch touchscreen LCD for real-time system monitoring.
- Displays gas concentration levels, alarm status, and diagnostic messages.
2.3 Gas Detectors
- Detects CH4, O2, CO2, H2S, and other gases.
- Signal Output: 4-20mA.
- Response Time: <30 seconds.
2.4 Solenoid Valves
- DC 24V 2-way and 3-way valves for gas sampling.
- Controls gas flow to sampling channels.
2.5 Flow Meter
- Measures airflow rate in the sampling line.
3. System Operation (p.17-24)
3.1 Startup Procedure
- Verify all gas sampling channels are open.
- Power on the display unit (HGS-200CS).
- System enters initialization mode for sensor stabilization (120 sec).
- Begins sampling sequence and displays gas concentration levels.
